    Jesus is Stripped of His Garments

    We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You, because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world.

    Reflection

    Jesus is stripped of His garments, exposed to shame and humiliation. He who clothed creation with beauty stands naked before mockers. He accepts this humiliation to restore the dignity we lost through sin.

    Prayer

    Lord Jesus, You were stripped of Your garments to clothe me in grace. Help me to be detached from material possessions and worldly honors. May I find my dignity only in being Your child. Amen.
