Saint of the Day
Each day the Church remembers a holy man or woman. Meet the saint whose feast falls today, then look ahead to the feast days coming next.
What is the saint of the day?
The Church's calendar assigns most days of the year to a saint, usually on the anniversary of their death — the day they were born into eternal life. Praying with the saint of the day is a simple way to keep company with the communion of saints and to find an intercessor for whatever you are carrying.
The saints on this page are “saints next door”: people of our own era, some already canonized, others beatified or with a cause underway. Their feast or memorial day is listed on each profile.
