Jesus Falls the Third Time
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You, because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Reflection
A third time Jesus falls, utterly spent, near the end of His journey. This fall represents our most stubborn sins, our habitual failings. Yet even now, Jesus rises. His perseverance assures us that no sin is too great, no habit too ingrained to overcome with grace.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, for those sins I have confessed many times and still commit, I beg Your mercy. Break the chains of my sinful habits. Help me to rise one more time than I fall. Amen.
