Jesus Dies on the Cross
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You, because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Reflection
'It is finished.' With these words, Jesus bows His head and gives up His spirit. The sacrifice is complete. The price is paid. Death itself is conquered. At this moment, all heaven holds its breath, and creation trembles.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I thank You for dying for me. Help me to die to sin and selfishness daily. May I live for You who died for me. Into Your hands I commend my spirit. Amen.
