Jesus Carries His Cross
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You, because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Reflection
The heavy wooden cross is placed upon Jesus' shoulders. Weakened from scourging, He embraces His cross willingly for our salvation. Each of us has our own crosses to bear—sufferings, trials, and difficulties that can lead us closer to God.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, help me to accept my daily crosses with patience and love, knowing that through them I am united with Your suffering. May I never complain but offer them for the salvation of souls. Amen.
