Jesus Meets His Mother
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You, because by Your holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Reflection
Mary, the Mother of Sorrows, meets her Son on the painful journey to Calvary. Their eyes meet—a mother's heart pierced by a sword of sorrow. She cannot stop His suffering, but she walks with Him, sharing in His pain out of love.
Prayer
O Mary, Mother of Sorrows, teach me to unite my sufferings with those of your Son. Help me to be a compassionate presence to those who suffer. Through your intercession, may I never abandon Christ in His suffering members. Amen.
